Healing bay

Standard Bearers school has a 2bed healing bay for children who fall ill while in school. We highly recommend as part of our post COVID policy that children who wake up feeling poorly, e.g cold fever, cough, asthma attacks should be kept at home and they can attend some classes online once the headteacher has been notified

Our health policy for every child at
STANDARD BEARERS SCHOOL:

↬ If your child is ill, you should keep him/her at home to receive proper medical care and inform the school.
↬ Our school is registered with George’s hospital due to its proximity to our school.
↬ In the event of emergencies children are taken there for immediate medical attention.
↬ We have an insurance policy in place, however, if parents choose to use their hospitals and their insurance policies, they are liable for time-lapses if they are unable to pick up their children quickly.
↬ We recommend that parents register for the school hospital policy. However, they could choose to pick up their children from the hospital and take them to their hospital of choice for a second opinion.
