Coporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
At SBS, Our children are taught to show empathy and kindness from a very early age. We have different avenues through which this is expressed:
In December the children bring in gift boxes tagged ‘Christmas in a Box” for less privilegded families. This usually comprises of a toy and ingredients to feed a family. Distribution is carried out by the children in grade 5 and 6 along with their teachers
iAfrica Cloud School Foundation is the main CSR project for SBS.
As a school we believe that all Nigerian children deserve the right to the same quality education that our SBS children get. Using a hybrid digital solution, the same literacy teaching and learning enjoyed by our students is being curated and extended to teach out of school children in underserved communities across Nigeria.
Currently we are teaching approximately 1000 children in 4 locations namely, Jos, Abuja, Makoko and Oko Agbon communities. click the link to view a video from one of our teachers in jos. click here.
Each community was gifted a cell bundle comprising a laptop, projector, microphones and Bluetooth speaker along with whiteboards, markers and reproducible materials.
