With our Open-Door Policy, parents are welcome to request a meeting with any of our managers where necessary.
In the first term, the Parents Ice Breaker Morning takes place. It is a time for new and old parents to meet, network and socialize around a series of sporting events which teachers also participate in.
The Parent Teachers Conference holds twice a term. This could be a physical or Zoom meeting. PTCs allow you the parents to get feedback every 6 weeks on academic, behavioral and extra-curricular performances of your child.
Funday is a parent led event where fun activities are planned to give the children a good time. Proceeds from fun day go into sponsoring a project for the school e.g. playground equipment, additional solar panels, water dispenser, computers, etc.
The town hall meetings are being strengthened to allow for more engagement of parents with the school authorities under a whole school partnership. Nevertheless, SBS parents do not feel distant from the school because of our open-door policy which allows parents to seek an audience and express themselves.Â
